Travelling and Writing (kind of)

I’ll be doing some travelling for the next three weeks, so posting here will either be minimal or nil. Usually the long silences come when I am focusing on writing, this time it’s more about being busy and having some personal situations that I don’t know how to deal with and which–were I a better writer–I could document with some clarity. Unfortunately I can’t get much out of it, and what I do must remain private for a lot of reasons.

I have been doing a lot of reading lately. If you’ve ever read Jack Gilbert’s early poetry, particularly his first volume, then that pretty much describes my exact mental location. If you haven’t read any of his work, then you should. One more thing to do instead of reading this site…
